"Artists are the people among us who realize creation didn't stop on the sixth day."
Joel Peter Witkin (1939-), American photographer

The show just ended at NWTC’s library gallery. The show was called Contemporary Portraits and since it was around Easter/Good Friday, the Stations, and a few other pieces are up as well...it runs from mid-April through late-May. The pieces will be available for view and sale--portraits of Mother Teresa, Grace Kelley, Martin Luther King Jr. and others were included.

Following those events there will be a showing at Neville for the participants of Studio 210 during 2010. There may be pieces made during that time or new works.

It should be a good year!

Earlier this year, Feb. 26, the Hollands will once again host their Art Nite at their home. In previous years there has been quite a turn out. I’m sure the fire code was more than maxed since it seemed half of Green Bay was there. It was great and I was able to sell some prints, thanks people!

I also had a great turnout and pre-sale of the 2011 "My Art Needs a Home" sale. I am giving half the sales to charity, this went to a media-building program at a local church. Previous sales from the year went to The Mentoring Project.
